Before the fight starts, Professor Chaos appears from the shadows and raises the thing they stole from the KND base: the Chaos Crystal of Technology. He then uses it to power up the team's and their base's own weaponry. An intense battle ensues as the joined heroes barely hold their own, until Bowser Jr ups the ante by combining his powered Gaddbrush into the base's main cannons. The cannons then fire a limitless amount of ink, which then turn into Shadow Mario clones. The heroes are now completely overpowered, until...
An army of Inklings show up and splat every clone in sight, and eventually take out one of the cannons. Before they can take out the second one, the Professor quickly thinks of the easiest way to win: Disable the heroes' technology with the Technology crystal. From there, a wave from the crystal flashes towards their enemies, disabling all 2x4 technologies, poke balls, inkling weapons, Toolshed's power tools, Tupperware's armor, etc. More Shadow Marios are shot out from the cannons, and destroy every weapon they could find, and attempt to overpower the heroes for real this time.

>Return of the Scare CrewLilianna Vess new but smaller team returns to the border of Halloween Town to conjure up another attempt spread its darkness over the world again, this time with a new artifact that will guarantee their victory: The Kaos Crystal of Darkness. The villains are later confronted by my main team during a seance, and are able to easily thwart the villains. Scary Terry is knocked back at the crystal which falls on the floor. He takes a closer look at the crystal, points it at the heroes, and fires out a mysterious evil being.
