Beast Wars probably has that special place in my heart. The toy was rather dopy, but it just worked for me, and plus he was a freaking T-Rex, come on that's ace. I mean the only thing I could think of that could be cooler is a T-Rex with turbine hip mounted thrusters and roller skates. Or something like that.
I'm a little sad that I don't have him any more.
Toy wise I think my favorite is Generations Megatron, with his War for Cybertron(?) design as that tank, or more like a cannon on treds. There's something really sexy about him that just works for me. His design really popped once I spent a little bit of time and a pencil and gave him a little bit of lining.
