Because there's no demand, hence Hasbro cancelling those lines 10 years after they got bought out.
But please, keep pretending that Hasbro or any company hates money and that there's soooo much pent up demand... despite so many failed tries by dozens of companies.
I get it, you're a nostalgiafag and you need to blame someone for your favorite lines disappearing and i wish some of mine would reappear again, but the fact of the matter is things are different now than they were 30 years ago. Shit, even just these past two years things have changed even more because of TRU going under.
And just 12 or so years ago, even more companies went under with the death of Sam Goody/Suncoast.
So take your head out of your ass. This is the reality of the toy industry. Without more outlets, there's not going to be as much variety, because even with niche as fuck Kickstarter lines, that's not enough.
All WalMarts want are sure things and those sure things are invariably movie and video game crap.
