At this point, if DIY is a no go, an alternative I've considered is to skip 3D Printing>Master Mould>Casting and just end it at 3D modelling, then getting the mould and injection moulding done professionally
Admittedly, the point of it all of was to design & 3D model a product for production, that was the prime objective; this is why getting third party joints would not work
It could end just there, which was my original plan, but I'm pushing a few steps further by making the design tangible and something I can mail to potential employers along with my portfolio
