You can't manufacture a Boba Fett type of fan-wank character, as Disney attempted to do with Phasma, and will try to push with Zori. But there's aesthetically striking background characters like Sidon & the Knights of Ren that people organically latch onto and want to know more about, just like Boba Fett. So yes, the Knight of Ren will sell just on his cool looks alone.
