>>6624933) and honestly I think the writer was correct and referring to something Disney retconned or cut out. Pic related is Sofia's mom and the country she comes from is also racially ambiguous; the mother's VA is Mexican; also her name is Sofia and not Sophia. And hell, why would the writer just make up that she was half Hispanic unless there was something along that lines to begin with.
Honestly i think Disney did intent for her to be a half Hispanic white girl and they just chickened out at the last minute for some reason. All the evidence points to it.
