How'd folks do on Bandai day last week? Managed to score a DX Chogokin SV-262 preorder (among other things) which is great... but also kinda stinks, because I didn't get a VF-31 preorder. Having the Draken makes missing the Siegfried hurt even more, haha.
>>5941940Oh good, glad that explanation made sense!
And nice to see that effect part getting a release, I'd forgotten all about it.
>>5942072>Any notable problems in the line (ie: figma shit breaking easily, MoMo's with damaged parts out of the box, Daibadi stuff having shit QC, etc)? One of the great things about RDs is that it's pretty much a universally solid line in that respect. Because they're intended to be posed and messed around with, RDs are generally quite sturdy and QC is solid as well with sharp paint apps and good construction. You will sometimes see unsightly nub marks on some parts, which is to be expected with these kind of mass produced mecha, but Bandai does try to minimize the visible nubs or place them in inconspicuous places (see the bottom of the Gouf's front skirt armor; there's a nub, but it's not obtrusive).
They're still adult collectibles, so you shouldn't be throwing them across the room or anything (though honestly, many RDs would probably be fine with that, haha), but they feel nice and solid in-hand. That nice balance of sharp, good looks and sturdy construction is one of the things I love about RDs.
