You bought two different figures and how many months/years apart from each other? Shit's pretty common since the company first started being talked about on /toy/. Even Joytoy acknowledged their own shittiness, hence including extra joints, instead of using better plastics with their figures
There isn't a single product I've bought that didn't have a problem somewhere, even if it didn't end up broken.

Still, they suffer from QC issues like the joints being floppy. This Chaos figure dived off my shelf a couple of times because it can't stand without a stand. It never broke though, thanks to being made of a thicker plastic.
As mentioned earlier, one of my tau figures has a molding error and has a floppy leg joint thanks to that.
