Articulation is so tight that you're going to put them into one pose and leave them in it. They have a lot of articulation, but getting their pose to look good is thus a bit of work and not particularily fun. The girl dolls themselves, on the other hand, don't have much in the way of articulation, so there isn't much you can do with them outside of the armour.
So if you like the armour and you're okay with treating it like statueshit, then they are probably worth it.
