AY OP have shown some interesting ways to approach this, most likely better than whatever Figuarts was going to try. Big ab crunch with cuts hidden in the grid pattern, like how it is hidden with the truck front grill on Optimus. Shoulder joints that swivels front to back but also swing outwards for more space to move in all directions. Hip rotation might be tricky because any rotation cut would stand out on this block body. Maybe just rotate the legs' orientation? Or each leg position could move around interdependently under there, like there's no typical crotch piece.
If they do make AY Kinnikuman, I think adding Sunshine is a good move, he is one of those top fan favorite characters that would impress many people for having good articulation.
