I'm honestly shocked they revealed this after the first year of just safe green hill zone and Knuckle's mech. I'm sure this appeals more to a nostalgic older audience than just Shadow's head on a plinth.
To avoid redundancy though, they'd probably go for a version of it with the eclipse cannon shoved up it's ass
