>>9362603>>9362607>>9362647People used to do this because ebay's seller fees were based on the final item price and did not factor in the shipping cost, but some years ago they finally changed it so that the fees are based off the TOTAL selling price including the cost of shipping but you still see listings with 90% of the price dumped into the shipping cost because sellers are stupid and think they're still being slick.
The shipping costs in OP's pic are perfectly normal for priority shipping though. Yes it does cost that much to ship something now unless it's really small and can go first class. Toys with big card backs like in the pic will have to go in a bigger box and that can easily reach $12-$17 these days. Most Ebay sellers ship priority because you can buy and print the label at home through Ebay instead of having to go stand in line at the post office to have it shipped standard for a few bucks less.
