Tolkien really captured the spirit and personality of the collector (even if accidentally)
and not just toys but collectors of anything.
I'm kind of a coomer in that if I see a beautiful female figure or statue I must have it (my precious)
I don't mean nude or obscene figures, but I just love the pretty faces and the pretty hair, so I get the same feeling you get,
but sometimes my room and my collection make feel like smaug more than gollum. acquiring more and more and more precious jewels until I have no room and I have no space.
