Just got back from the Disney store. After the photos released last night I needed to check them out in person. They had very few Belle/Beast dolls, and only one set didn't have their boxes smashed in. They had a bunch of Belle/Gaston sets. They had Belle & Beast in a nice display case.
The yellow dress Emma doll had the long forehead issue, but they toned down the freckles. The Disney store version actually comes with two details the Hasbro ones doesn't. A gold ring on one of her fingers, and they actually panted on her golden "ear cuff".
It seems that they fixed the blue dress Belle that comes with Gaston because her skin tone was lighter, and they lowered her eyebrows a bit which helps. It could have been the different hair style, but her forehead seemed a little shorter as well. Gaston was very well detailed.
I had a Disney Store gift card with some money on it, and a 20% off coupon so I ended up picking up both dolls. As I type this I keep looking over at them, and I'm scared. What the hell have I done. A part of me wants to keep them, but the other keeps saying they gotta go back!
