>>8040302The question is, do they even have a chance of being any better than K'Nex's excellent (and very expansive) Mario minifigure line? I'm honestly not sure, so many of the K'nex figures were just perfect in my book. Lego has the disadvantages of a smaller scale and a somewhat-rigid minifig template to adhere to, whereas K'nex seems to have been pretty comfortable bending and breaking the boundaries of their house style.
Where I DO think this line can excel is the environments. Make some great world sets and I'm in, even if the minifigs do end up sucking. In fact, make them microscale, shit would be cute as fuck and I would definitely buy that.
