>>7741795>women are lazier than men, because reasons.Women are lazier than men because most things in life are handed to them for simply having a vagina.
>I went to a panel at SDCC and there were women presentWe were shown a woman sculpting the White Ranger, and learned via social media that numerous other figures were also sculpted by women. I haven't seen any evidence of a male sculptor yet on the LC.
>Bandai almost didn’t even put the tips of the Zeo shields on the figures. That's a straight up lie.
>They cut calf articulation and reduced the ab crunch once Zeo started coming out.Ab crunch was reduced because the options were to either cut it into the crest or make the crest small and shitty looking like
>>7739073Removed calf articulation was a cost cutting measure, probably because the Zeos came with more stuff than the other teams.
>They never once made a figure with fists.Another cost issue. Extra hands are extra budget. The alternative is to sacrifice a gripping hand for a fist, which would be really stupid, and yet Hasbro manages to only give us one gripping hand in spite of having extra hands.
>Insert the usual “lack of accessories, roid Rangers, basketball boobies” argument.Lack of accessories are a cost issue. Because Hasbro owns Power Rangers outright they're able to offer more at the price point. Bandai had to give Saban a cut, and knowing Saban it was probably a generous cut at that.
Everyone agrees the body sculpts were where Bandai failed the hardest, but that's more-so a difference in artistic interpretation than an outright fuck-up.
>There were zero non-Ranger villains to speak of.Because villains are expensive to tool as they generally offer no reuse potential, and as mentioned they had less budget to work with than Hasbro. Few people are aware of this, but Rita and Zedd were actually planned for the Legacy line towards the end. I found listings for them in the Walmart system after Grnrngr made pic related tweet.
