>>9650676>The first two years of Devil's Due Joe keeping his identity a mystery for the sake of a mystery didn't help,Snake-eyes, and Storm Shadow's identities were mysteries for almost 3 years and the big twist at the end of Silent Interlude wouldn't be followed up for 6(ish) months. Identity mysteries have always been a thing in the Joe Universe from Snake-eyes face to who's Cobra's Red Ninja's were and the reason many of them captivated was they gave us a character in spite of not having a face to go with it. Kamakura always felt like a half baked idea that should have either been left on the cutting floor or had a lot more work done to him. An apprenticeship to Snake-eyes could have been interesting but their has to be some sort of depth to the charterer that defines them. Even the Survivor's guilt felt more reactionary meaning you could put any other Joe in that and it would play out the same. Your characters have to have something distinct about them or their design and/or surface behavior has to be so 'rule of cool' that no one cares they are a cardboard cut out Sadly our boy Kamakura is none of those things and feels like someones pet project at Hasbro they won't let go.
