>>10132686There linely are concepts. But do we even need new ones constantly? Wouldn't it be enough to give old concepts a freshened up reboot? It's not like older concepts lacked potential. The problem is rather that instead of relying on creative concepts and adding a little worldbuilding, Lego takes the ultimate low risk route with licenses, because at the end of the day there will always be consoomers eating it all up.
Like look at what happened to Racers, a theme with a wide spectrum of products. Reduced to Speed Champions, licensed, and "Technic" with next to no functions, also partially licensed.
Remember Drome Racers? It was already a great concept, with different terrain, different teams, with just a little more worldbuilding it would have been even more exiting.
Or Tiny Turbos, I still love them to this day and embed other themes in that size /scale.
If anything, I assume there would be room for another theme with smaller than minifig scale.
