It really is a bit odd since HW2 Banished using Honor Guard armor don't change proportions as much, just have different details, more raw/bare metal plating instead of decoration, just these touches that make the physical components seem a bit more worn down.
But maybe the idea for future DLC is that Atriox took mostly the best of the Banished to the Ark and we'll see them later.
