If we're talking Skids' legs being hollow, the ER Datsun Mold, as well as Impactor were way worse in that regard.
I will concede that the Skids figure doesn't do quite as good of a job at hiding its hollowness compared to other figures.
Not sure about clear plastic still being used to that extent though, despite me not having any issues with figures that have translucent plastic.
Probably yet another case of the figures looking better in hand. That was what happened when Siege first came along.
