also easily accessible is the smooth on smooth cast 300 series. they take dyes well and you can buy the specs you want. I'm currently using 305, which I chose for the slower setting time, 30 minutes. A slower setting time gives you more time for bubbles to shift out and lets you pour more casts per mix since they don't harden up on you as quickly.
casting a front face is quite easy. the faces are relatively flat. The hardest part is getting the pegs and slots right on the back aspect, and a slow setting resin really improves your quality of life when trying to get those right.
