It seems correct to say that Ryu is accurate, he's just an amalgam of art and sprite (brown wrist guards from sprite, gold belt lettering from art).
Ken is weird in that his shoulders and legs are torn, when neither should be. Other than that, he's accurate to sprite
Just a thought, maybe it has to do with Violent Ken coming out first. Though the pants still don't make sense.
