So, as an example, printing the flat parts of this chair would be needless time and filament, and would be limited by the size of your build plate.
If you get the flat parts laser cut, and then print the highly detailed parts, you'd be saving a lot of time and effort. Overall more economical for you and easier to construct, esp if you outsource your printing and cutting.
