Figma Mk 42. I know everyone hates how the paint on the final product looked nothing like the prototype for both the Mk 42 and 43. The biggest offender was that the reds were molded in color instead of the metallic red shown in promos, and this was really bad in the case of Mk 43. Now while it's still different from the promos, it's not as bad with the Mk 42 since it's mostly gold in color. Unlike the 43, the gold is done in a pearlescent wine gold finish and it ends up looking better than the piss-yellow of the Mk 43. Not to mention the molded color plastic also makes it so it's less prone to paint chipping/fading. With the smooth balljoints of Figma, I actually found myself liking the figure a lot and it's easily one of my favorite IM figures as someone who's bought a fair number of SHF Iron Men.
