As for Super Sentai, it's true that Bandai can influence Toei like how they can influence Sunrise with matters regarding Gundam. However, there's now the loophole through Hasbro that non-Japanese 3Ps can use to obtain the MMPR license and that's essentially what Flame Toys did. It's easier than ever for 3Ps to do Sentai robos without getting sued, as long as they were adapted as Power Ranger Megazords.
