not that anon, but personally, I really dig the Bandai DX chogokin VF-1 mold. That and the Bandai reissues of the old 1/55 are the only valks I'll ever need.

Yeah, I fuckin love the bandai 1/55 reissues. Swappable heat-shields. tampoed markings, and solid chunky goodness. I'd hunt at least one down if you can.

Them and the Chogokin DX Vf-1 are such great toys. The only macross stuff that I've kept in my collection.

I go back and forth between the 1D and Max's tv VF-1A being my favorite. Both are designs with memorable screen time and I'm still kinda astonished that neither ever got a chunky monkey release.
Endless glad they both got awesome DX releases.

(I can't help but see the DX mold as chunky ver 2.0. Am I alone in this?)
