It wasn't until later that goblins evolved to become tiny and orcs big brutes. Back in the 80s, a lot of fantasy books had orcs being shorter than humans. If you have any comic books from back then, you can find a lot of ads for fantasy shit too.
Not sure when the real seperation for goblin and orc came about.
