I like Bandai's model kits, but for humans and such? They lack in dynamic everything. Look at Darth Vader's quilted tunic and it's completely lifeness. There's no movement to it at all, whereas other figures actually have it sculpted where it'll look natural in most poses.
I mostly stick to Bandai's Gundams, various mecha and spaceship stuff. Great, easy kits.
I know how much /toy/ loves shitting on bad paint jobs, but when people are actually suggesting newbies to build and paint a model kit, that's just a laugh. A chinese kid is literally better than almost everyone in this thread when it comes to their ability in paint apps.
>>6111482Like i said in the other thread, why get the model kit when the toy is already built for you? They're both practically identical in terms of accuracy, except for the no-neck on the model. Hasbro's is already made and almost all necessary paint apps are done, so use it save time if you want to add extra paint details.
