>>10340797Probably significantly taller. This is a picture of the BFC Guyver I, the Figma Guyver I, and the new Figma Guyver I from left to right. Guyver II and III Figmas were in scale with the Figma Guyver I, which is significantly smaller than the BFC Guyver I. This new Guyver seems to be roughly the same size as the BFC Guyver, assuming that the prototype is accurate (I believe it must be, why else line them up like that?) So he won't be in the same scale as Guyver II and III, but on the bright side he should scale with BFC figures, which includes a bunch of Zoanoids. Hopefully they release new versions of Guyver II and III.
>>10340801I dunno, I looked around on various Goodsmile sites and couldn't find him. He was just revealed though, and it may have been too late at night in Japan for them to add him.
>>10340776Guyver is good shit. There is a manga, an old OVA, an old TV series, and a newer TV series. The newer TV series is a closer adaptation of the first 60 or so chapters of the manga than the older stuff, but the animation is worse, IMO. I'm currently making my way through the manga, but it should be noted that it was never finished, it has around 200~ chapters but the author hasn't published a new one since 2016 (the series dates back to 1985).
There are also two live action American movies. The first one is pretty goofy, with a lot of forced humor that is out of place in Guyver. The second movie is more serious, but the setting is pretty bland. The effects in both are very good for the time, a lot of excellent practical and digital effects. I would suggest checking them out, especially if you are into tokusatsu as the creators have worked on Super Sentai (or maybe one of the other shows, I don't remember) before I believe.
