>>9242655Light tone is really hard to do. Not even professional toy company like hasbro can do light color over dark easily. For example, check out Hellcat Marvel Legends lower leg on pic related. Hasbro being super cheap they rather mold her lower leg in dark blue and paint a bit of yellow, but you can see the dark blue peeling through.
The trick to paint light color is to build up the undertone and transition. Say you paint your figure with grey primer. Then do grey+white primer on top, then you can easily paint lighter flesh tone, or lighter color in general over grey primer.
For pure pure white, or bright yellow, your regular acrylics or even hobby acrylics usually dont have enough pigment density. Even if you build layers upon layers it would not be the same as molded plastic, and lighter colors smear and easily show brush strokes. Then instead, you have to resort to airbrush/can spray and even then you need multiple coats.
