It's a live conflict-based action-oriented drama where the focus of the conflict is a professional wrestling promotion instead of the zombie apocalypse or a Tolkien-with-tits setting. Instead of magic or swords or zombies, wrestling maneuvers like piledrivers or flying somersaults are viable tactics in hand-to-hand combat, and there's the added factor of people doing cool stunts and acrobatics. It's not trying to trick you into thinking it's real, it hasn't for like 40 years.
WWE is pretty dire at the moment, but Lucha Underground is on Netflix, the episodes are 40 minutes, won't insult your intelligence and it's a lot of fun.
