I've only really used the tamashii ones before, but since I can't really find any near me for the right price I've been considering using a good alternative, and these are the right price for me.

How good are they at holding multiple figures at once?

Seriously, use stands. You'll only ruin the feet of your figures with tape glue and blue tack, and it'll look completely aweful and ruin the point in displaying them.

Pic related are obitsu stands, they're relatively small and could fit in cases like yours, and you can use the straight up and down pole to avoid its elbow from taking up extra space.
