>>8767021All minicon teams consist of 3 guys and usually follow a theme which the name of the team is named after.
>Was he another UT guy?Perceptor, the combined form of the Street Action minicon team. He would technically be in the same league as the Star Saber, Skyboom Shield and Requiem Blaster but is obviously a robot not a weapon.
>Do some just attach and only give a power-up?Yeah basically, there's only two types of minicon releases in Armada: 3 guys in a squad minicon team and minicon partnered up with the Transformers. Some of the partnered up minicons interact well with their partner like Blackout, Crumplezone, Incinerator etc. while a few like Sparkplug, Liftor and Longarm don't really do anything else special other than powerlinx with their partner. Then there's the 3 guys minicon team. Some combine into weapons, some individually transform into a third Targetmaster mode, some utilize a gear mechanic that works well with Cyclonus's special gear system as well as Hoist (though in the case of Hoist his gimmick was sadly cancelled midway through the development), some have flick fire missiles in vehicle mode and one team has rolling wheels in vehicle mode.
>what are the benefits of the portsWhy to Powerlinx with the minicons of course, and to go one step further for UNLIMITED POWER.
