Going with four arms is a cool choice. They keep all their ball joints and bends and swivels of course. But now their power can be harnessed for stabbing and/or hugging.
I do really like the face. Not sure why it says birdbot to me more than bugbot.

Grey and Olive aren't the most eye-catching thing you can put on a toy.
Just to start at the most obvious point; G1 insecticon colours would look great. Because black and yellow and purple look great. But also Beast Wars Insecticon colours would be good too, the blue and and much more vibrant green would breathe some life into this toy.
