>>8127958Vid related, one of my animations; I just started out (I used to make em as a kid tho) and this is one of my favourite ones
I use an S8 w/ a mobile phone tripod I got from Amazon and a pirated version of Stop Motion Studio Pro so I get all the features of it; I also use an architect desk lamp with an LED bulb for bright lighting
I recommend starting out practicing basic movements like walk cycles, looking around, objects falling, etc in order to get the hang of FPS and how many photos you should take for certain movements - watch guides on YouTube for further explanation on that
I use various frame rates depending on the animation and how many photos I take, I'm still practicing myself, the vid I uploaded is animated at around 12 fps; faster fps doesn't mean the animation would be better though
Set pieces and plot arent important until you move on from the basics, as you can see I have a baseplate with nothing on it besides minifigs - this helps with practice as you only need to focus on the minifigs at first, which would be the main focus anyways
Stop motion is a "learn by doing" thing, if you have any more questions let me know
