>>8628674>his lack of design to cover and hide joints made him difficult to pull off (Spider-Man all over again)There have been numerous characters since Spidey with no kneepads to hide the joint, and they turned out fine--see Wolvie, Psylocke, Gwen, etc. Spidey's knees were an anomaly where Yamaguchi was trying out something weird.
>the figure will look like a body buck.Yamaguchi doesn't seem to care that much about making a slavishly accurate most iconic version of each character, so I see no reason why he would make Iceman just a boring body. There are lots of ways to give him interest with jagged, rocky sculpting, like my favorite Toy Biz Iceman here. Also, since he can generate shapes and items with his ice, there is potentially room for armor, limbs, etc. in addition to just ice blast effect parts. Hell, if Yamaguchi wanted to go all the way, he could include a molded tray to recreate the ice slide from the original Toy Biz Iceman figure.
Also, I just disagree with you that the visible joints would be ugly. There have been many clear Revos and they look perfectly fine. Just make his joints in white, it'll be fine.
