>>9373762>rise of evil two pack, was a 2020 thingYes, but it has became part of Michael's argument regarding retailer distribution and the toy industry, which he made a video on, in which he falsely claimed that Mattel only sold Target 2 sets each per store, which was false and he was called out on it by Scott Nietlich, both in a video and during the debate on Geek Dad Life's channel. In Scott's video on the matter, he discussed how many Target stores there are in the US and that each store getting only "2" each of the set like Michael said would not hit the "Minimum Order Requirement," and obviously there would be a second bigger shipment that was going to hit, and he knew this for a fact because of his own experience being a brand manager in the toy industry. And he explained that this always happens with toy lines and that always whenever the first shipment arrives, all the adult collectors buy them all up, which results in a period of empty pegs and people scalping and selling the figures at exorbitant prices on ebay in the time it takes to get the next shipment in. So then when the re-stock does finally show up, the adult collectors have generally bought all they were going to buy in the first batch, and what's left now becomes a peg warmer for awhile, since it's super common.
Michael was being an alarmist with the set and driving up the prices by telling people it was super rare and you'd never find it and that each store only got 2 of them.
