>>11282499>The fans have been patient waiting for characters they want and we've just had a two year long "Year of the Snakes" and now you want more???We got 5 snakes last year, two of which were Lost 88, so it was barely a Year of Snakes. Snake haters are hyperbolic.
I've said before that it was Mattel's fault for not spreading more new molds for guys like Rattlor and Dragstor throughout the earlier waves because they wanted to milk the basic He-man buck with shit like Rulers of the Sun and the shitty 200x mains, leaving the tail end of the line so tooling intensive.
I'd honestly settle for 2-3 snakes a year from here on out. Excluding the King of the Snakemen minicomic grunts (which I feel are a pie in the sky), there are way less "Axel Snakes" than vintage remaining even if we exclude the 4 PoG/Lost 88. Shit, technically Cham-or and Dart-os aren't even snakes.
And if you think Mattel are going to rush out every remaining vintage figure after most collectors have said they are done when vintage is done, you are crazy.
So as much as I want Dragstor and Blast Attack YESTERDAY, and for them to not be MC exclusives, I know I might as well be pissing into the wind.
I also want shit like Haramesh, Brainbug, and Wrap Trap, but for every figure that requires extensive tooling with minimum parts reuse, they seem to need to give us at least 3 figures that have minimal new parts like Geldor and Demo-Man. And I'd rather get Cham-or and Toxoid than generic barbarian number 10.
Honestly I'd rather get pic related or the Masks of Power fuckers than another diversity hire barbarian like Geldor.
>Geldor failed because he fell into the trap that most human characters do in 5.5" line. They are inherently less eye catching than the man/monster hybridsShould have been Lodar. The purple/magenta on him makes him visually more interesting than Mr T with grey hair but no bling.
