>>10772155They don't add as much as you think. The minifg itself is roughly 9 parts when fully disassembled afterall. +producing a mask is not the same as producing 1x1 brick.
What a minifig, let's say with a recolor/unique hair mold roughly converts to is a mask, head and gear system. Pretty much converts the pilot into a figure.
Current Ninjago goes by 20$, Marvel mechs 15$ and have the added license cost, Star wars seems almost the same size and volume but has one dollar on top (16$) There is no direct comparison to be had within the 15$ range as of this moment. (Arin's mech is a typical 4+ scam and has bunch of crap). You can really see that what really affects the cost is the license and not the fig when you compare something like Zane's Evo mech to any of the Marvel/Star Wars mechs. Despite them costing 5 bucks more the amount of value is close to the same, there's bit more added bulk and density so let's say the difference is 3.50$ due to license

>>10769796remove the pole and few more pieces and this plastic would cover green Onua for 12$ with extra mask/critter or 11$ without basically.
Personally I'm of the opinion that midi scale and larger should have knees but if you own any of these smaller ones there's hardly a point. These things are short. The locked knee plate makes sense, but it's aesthetically awful and should be replaced.
