I was looking at a bunch of Floro Dery art and holy shit I love this but this Proto-Primus would be so squat compared to Unicron. The golden energy scimitar is sweeeeeet, though, and he has big dwarf (oxymoron not intended) energy, which is appropriate given the notion that Cybertronian bodies are forged. Didn't realize that Dery is 1) Filipino and 2) still alive and relatively young, only 62. From his first name I had assumed he was Italian or maybe Portuguese, and for someone with such an intricate but effortless style and painterly senses of textures and colors I thought that he had to have been practicing his craft for decades. No, he was only 26 when the show premiered. What a fucking legend.
