>>11345740Armored up mode. Her legs detach at the thigh just like MDs and Busou Shinki of old, and she gets some massive leg armor; the knees flex and the covers in front of the joint move, too, but the ankles are static (a necessity, since she basically balances on her tip-toes). She gets a cool alternate head with a big halo thing on it, but sadly no shoulder or chest armor. And then there's her backpack - two VERY large, poseable Particle Cannons that attach to what I'm assuming is some sort of jump-pack (it's too small to be a full jetpack). The cannons use the same kind of joints that the rest of her body does, so they can be fanned out, rotated forward, or put in all sorts of different angles. As cool as it looks, the pack sadly refuses to stay attached to her back - it seems the pegs are too short (though the corresponding slots on Cuckoo's back seem deep enough, so it may be possible to stick pins or something in there). The short pegs, combined with the weight of her armored legs, ensures she always pops right off of her backpack - and her stand by extension. While she has another hole in the small of her back where you can plug the stand in, removing it from the cannons still ensures they fall off under their own weight. Since Cuckoo can't stand on her own with her armored legs on (again, she's on tip-toes), the only solution I've found is to have her lean against her backpack, which sadly limits the kind of poses you can put her in. It's a shame; she's cute, and I'm always been a fan of the 'mecha angel' aesthetic, but there's not much I can do here; maybe someone else who owns her has a working solution?
Oh, and the art on the side of her box is pretty cool, which is why I included it in the shots; I actually have no idea what the lore behind the character actually is, but as I understand it, she's not some one-off OC.
