A shift in nerf elite aesthetics is literally just that, an aesthetic shift, something nerf does all the time. It doesn’t have anything to do with looking like real firearms because elite blasters already looked nothing like real guns to begin with.
The only time anything like that really comes up is in not having blasters colored black/grey and making sure the Fornite line’s blasters stay cartoonishly proportioned.
