It's going to be a butt-ton of work but it seemed like an interesting challenge. The fur flocking is probably going to be a lot of busywork over several weeks, but for now I'm just focusing on getting the base body ready so I can get to work on smoothing over the work I've done with some putty and sanding.
Also, I've been using a plastic welding technique I saw on Perifractic / Retro Recipes' youtube channel, basically cutting out pins from paper clips and using a soldering iron to embed them into the plastic. It makes a lot of fumes though so I've been wearing a respirator whenever I have to do it. Also, plastic welding with a soldering iron in general has been giving me great results in terms of keeping the structural integrity of the plastic in tact without adding weight like epoxy putty would have.
