Twenty six.

Mostly old Japanese stuff. Not exclusively, but that's a large percentage of the figures and knick-knacks I like to get the most.

I've always had an interest in that sort of thing. In spite of being born in Europe, and being raised/living in America, I've always had a lot of exposure to Japanese media. My father is to blame for that - he also always had an interest in the country and culture, so he taught me and my sister the Japanese language at a young age. Growing up I watched shows like Dragon Ball, and my older sister would sometimes bring over VHS tapes with programmes like Trigun on them. I loved the art direction of those shows, the music, the humour, and so on. Same goes for old Japanese video games. Unfortunately, merchandise of those kinds of shows wasn't really a thing where I lived. It wasn't until my 20s when I realized the internet exists and that there's nothing stopping me from discovering what merchandise did exist for the series I liked as a kid and so on. Sort of snowballed from there. Even today I'm still discovering neat new stuff. I just ordered a beautiful looking figure of a protagonist from a Japanese Sega Saturn game that never released outside of Japan. I love the game, so I was thrilled to see a high quality figure from the game had been made at all. Stuff like that is very cool to me.
