It sounds like the scammer had access to multiple Paypal accounts, and some accounts or payments got frozen for irregular activity (or being fresh accounts receiving huge payments) after multiple big payments came in. Or she tried to withdraw, but was capped at $500/monthly on each one because she hadn't verified her social security number yet. Obviously she can't wait a month to withdraw the rest.
Please, people, if somebody is having trouble with PayPal, just stay away.
