>>5451155You realize i never said that the past was better, right? I was only explaining why i wouldn't be included with Generation Y.
I said that there were so many freedoms taken away that they expect real life to work the same way it did at school, leading to some shocking moments that even colleges started to give in to demands from adults who expected the same coddling they got from elementary/HS.
So even if i were Generation Y, i wouldn't have the same experiences as later kids did, like i saw with my younger brother and nephew/cousins. It's vastly different, taking away creativity and forms of play because they viewed it as too violent. It made kids AND parents paranoid, by instilling BS beliefs that things are getting more violent than ever.
This is real life overreaction by instilling fear and not letting people own up to their own problems.
It's like this guy
>>5450870 saying certain people shouldn't read the comic because it hits too close to home
>They're also the same people who take any amount of criticism, no matter how well intentioned, as a personal attack, instead of using it to better themselves. You can see that in this thread, with people hating the comic because of its message and feeling slighted.
