Kübelwagen guy here. Went better than expected. Masked with cardboard cutouts (wasn't that much of a pain to cut to be honest), all are raised a bit with small drops of UHU-tac.
Think the feather effect is somewhat visible on most places. Fenders and hood were masked directly with the masking tape and the difference in the effect is showing. I'll fix those, as well as some over-sprays, by hand.
