Anyway, thanks for the pic, I like what you've done with curved slopes on the sides, the top ones don't connect to the middle one by studs and the overall look becomes smooth. What's it based on?
I started collecting SC as late as 2018 when I returned from my dark age. However I backtracked to get the 2017 street car sets. GT40 is probably my favourite of them all, as well as the 250 GTO. I'm a sucker for 60s and 70s cars. I agree with you about the earlier sets, and no offense I'd say that blockiness is still visible in most of 2016 sets too. The 917 is sickkk though.
