I was shocked when I went in there again sometime sort of recently, bought a few things, and noticed that the price was higher than what I was expecting. While I was waiting for them to finish ringing the stuff up, I looked around and noticed that, where the signs used to say “Everything's A Dollar!” (or something like that) It just showed a big “$1.25!!”. And then I asked if everything’s now a dollar twenty five, and the cashier said yeah.
It’s surprising how much an additional 25¢ can make the overall price of it go up when buying things there. But also, it makes some oftheir cheapo crap just but worth it any more, because, like, or just a few cents more now, you can get a somewhat more functional version.
That’s bekng said, most canned foods are actually cheaper at other stores, especially now! Since most generic canned foods are usually under a dollar. Like, a can of corn, or off-brand/store-brand soups, for example.
