My earliest memories of playing with toys is from the early 90s when I was in elementary school. I had a big tub, much bigger than pic related, of Lego that I would dump out and play with for hours. Sometimes I would drag it downstairs into the living so I could watch TV with my mom while I played. Good times. As far as action figures go, I remember a roughly 10-12 inch pretty well articulated red Power Ranger that I liked a lot as well as a few ninja turtles.
